Ahhh...Im going to palm springs this weekend and the thought of hot weather and being by the pool makes me think of SUMMER! I cant wait to spend the weekend with my best friend/fiancé.... relaxing in the sun, bronzing poolside, & sippin on fruity drinks. This time off is much needed plus this little vampire needs to get some color.

Plant a Living Picture

This is going to be my next project. Instead of having a framed picture, have a living framed picture! I am constantly not only researching fashion, but also different DIY ideas for decorating. I immediately fell in love with this idea. I was originally looking for succulent centerpieces, and I came across succulent wall art! There are pre made kits that you can buy that come with everything you need. I cant wait to order mine and start my wall art!

Spring is all about that 70's flare. I am obsessing over the color blocking trend. It looks so dynamic, confident, and clean. Plus who doesn't love all the bright hues of color that puts you in the spring and summer mode!

Some tips on pulling off the color blocking trend:

-Team up colors in the same family.

*For example do a royal blue with a turquoise or a plum purple with fuchsia

-Keep warm colors together

-Pair the outfit with a nudeor simple shoe

- Its also fun to mix it up with colors and choose different contrasts. Like lime green and

melon, or bright orange and purple.

-Keep it simple, fun and daring!

Getting Lippy!

So I'm on this new kick of trying out new colors to wear on my lips. Im usually the nude, pink, and occasionally red kinda gal. Today I decided to branch out and I bought an orange and purple! I know what you're thinking orange lips...not cute BUT THEY ARE! Im obsessed. And the purple i bought is a berry purple so its very seductive. Im excited to rock these new colors. Plus it vamps up any outfit!
